I cannot believe that we are almost done with April! Spring has sprung and we are busy with all the fun things that that brings! It is birthday season here and I am buying gifts and planning parties. We have also started organized sports. Jonah is in T-ball and I think that the direct quote is "It's AWESOME!" I am glad that you add this craziness one kid at a time. I know we will figure it out, but how do parents with more than one kid in a sport do it?
Audrey is ready to be three. She is practicing holding up three fingers. The other day we were practicing all her info. What is your name? Where do you live? etc. When I asked her what her daddy's name was she replied, "Uncle Jordie!" She loves hanging out with her older girl cousins. For a girl who gives orders on a regular basis it is nice to watch her take a few too! She will follow them anywhere!
To say that Reuben loves the warmer weather is an understatement. He will chase a ball around the yard as long as possible! I do not know how we survived the winter now that we are able to go out! We are working on developing his tolerance to diary. For now he is still dairy free, but we have made some strides, and I am hopeful that someday he will enjoy pizza!
I am really trying not to cry about Jonah turning 5 next week. Jordan and I were talking last night about how much he has grown up in the last few months. I think that everyone was concerned that he would never learn his colors. Last week I was reviewing them (again) with him and he said "Mom, this is so easy" rolled his eyes and nailed it. While our preschool has been loose in the sense that we have not used an official curriculum we are finishing workbooks, and he really wants to learn to read. I am trying to help and encourage him but he gets board easily. We are reading "Little House on the Prairie" books right now and he loves them. I hope to take him to Living History Farms soon and I am trying to see where we can squeeze a Tulip Time trip this year. If we make it there I am sure I will post some great pictures!
