Healthy Kiddos

We took a trip to the doctor today for Reuben's 3 year and Elise's 15 month.  The other day we drove past the doctor's office and Jonah said, "Remember when we used to go to the doctor there?"  We have been blessed with really healthy kids.
Sweet Reuben...he is thinning out.  He was 37 inches high and 37 lbs.  Still my little square, he grew 4 pounds and 4 inches!  That put him 33% for height and 88% for weight.  That is down from 99% last year. I am so very curious to see where Audrey is next month at her 5 year.
The rice milk is working for Elise, and she is inching back up the charts.  She weighed 21 lbs 14 ounces and was 31 3/4 inches.  She was 60% for weight and 87% for height.  That is up 2 1/2 lbs and 5 inches in 3 months...is that possible?  Jordan and I have thought that she was getting bigger, but that was surprising!  I really wanted to talk through the "if she has a seizure" scenario with the doctor.  It is kind of nice to have a game plan for if that happens (even if I never have to use it!)

A "Spring" Field Trip

This morning when the kids woke up I told them to put on short sleeves because we had a surprise field trip. We met Gramma B and Gramma Great at the Botanical Center and got to pretend it was spring!   By the orchids   Lovely Lady (She has been waiting for short sleeve weather so that she can wear this sweater!)     Grandmas and the kids   Look at the fish!   Me and my babes!     What is this?      This inside of the fig   He looks as disturbed as I was to find out that they throw out the plants in the two themed beds every 6 weeks!  (We kind of wanted to take them home!)   Not sure if this is the wall's intended purpose!     What a great brother!   Group shot!

A Very Late Posting of 1st Day of Enrichment Class!

Yep, enrichment classes started over a month ago and I am just now posting the "First Day of Class" photos.  This year we cut back to just one day.  It is lovely.  Jonah and Audrey are both taking art and science.  Jonah is also taking drama.  I am really curious to see how he does with that because he has been really excited about it.  The back packs are completely unnecessary, but a must for the back to class picture!     Getting Ready to head out!   Miss Poser as she gets ready to go inside!    Way too cool for this   Me too Mom!

A little Reuben update

I took Reuben in for his 4 year today.  Last year...36 lbs 36 inches.  This year 39 lbs 39 inches.  73% for weight and 22% for height.    The nurse said "Buddy, you are a square!"  We knew that already. He got referred to an allergy Dr.  On the one hand he is too young to start allergy meds (unless he starts not being able to sleep-then he'd be looking at shots.) but knowing what he is allergic to could help us make better decisions for him (watch pollen counts, tell Jonah there is no dog in his future, etc.)  Looks like it is time to start figuring our how to get him to take apple cider vinegar!  (Sigh...)
