Recovering

OK, my goal was to post once a week so I had better not drop the ball the first week!

I think that we are all recovering from everything. I am thinking about getting us T-shirts that say "I survived the Plague of 09." Jordan says that the side effects of all the medications that we were on are just about as bad as being sick itself. Reuben has terrible diapers and now a diaper rash. We cut Audrey's last two days of prednisone in half because we couldn't handle her biting and pinching people any more. (The doctor had left the length that she was on this to our discretion.) I am not taking my antibiotic tonight because it feels like it is burning a hole in my stomach.

Jordan got a lot done this weekend. He raked and bagged leaves and got the shed almost painted. He ran out of trim paint!

We (Jordan, Reuben and I) leave bright and early Tuesday morning for FL. I think that I am excited. I didn't think that I would be anxious about leaving Jonah and Audrey. I also saw that it is supposed to rain everyday that we are down there. I hope to spend some time resting, reading and just thinking through life a bit. You can pray that we have safty as we travel and come back recharged!

A Very Late Posting of 1st Day of Enrichment Class!

Yep, enrichment classes started over a month ago and I am just now posting the "First Day of Class" photos.  This year we cut back to just one day.  It is lovely.  Jonah and Audrey are both taking art and science.  Jonah is also taking drama.  I am really curious to see how he does with that because he has been really excited about it.  The back packs are completely unnecessary, but a must for the back to class picture!     Getting Ready to head out!   Miss Poser as she gets ready to go inside!    Way too cool for this   Me too Mom!

A "Spring" Field Trip

This morning when the kids woke up I told them to put on short sleeves because we had a surprise field trip. We met Gramma B and Gramma Great at the Botanical Center and got to pretend it was spring!   By the orchids   Lovely Lady (She has been waiting for short sleeve weather so that she can wear this sweater!)     Grandmas and the kids   Look at the fish!   Me and my babes!     What is this?      This inside of the fig   He looks as disturbed as I was to find out that they throw out the plants in the two themed beds every 6 weeks!  (We kind of wanted to take them home!)   Not sure if this is the wall's intended purpose!     What a great brother!   Group shot!
