Elise had her two week appointment today. The doctor likes to give me a hard time about being an "old young mom" as opposed to a "new old mom." He says that he can tell from the moment that he walks in the door who he is dealing with because the old young mom can smile despite the lack of sleep (the new old mom thinks she is going to die by this time!)
Elise weighed in at 7 lbs 15 ounces (45%) and was 21 inches (75%). If I was more put together I would see where that line up with the others. It was a pretty uneventful appointment because everything looks good. (So nice to have an uneventful appointment since by this time I knew something was wrong with Reuben.) He asked a lot of questions about her sleeping habits and wants me to watch that she doesn't get her days and nights mixed up. Last night was much better than the last three nights with her getting up twice and then starting my day off at 5:20. Yes, that is early and I don't want to do that a lot, but mentally it was better than getting up 4+ times a night. (Crazy girl!)
